Military Utility Analyses of Futuristic Weapons Concepts

This contract provides systems engineering and modeling support to the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Directed Energy Directorate at Kirtland AFB. Tasks performed include conducting oversight and integration for modeling and simulation of advanced laser and electro-optical technologies related to command and control, space vehicle systems, and war gaming of advanced system simulators that have direct application to AF and DoD program and mission requirements. MEI Technologies engineers support the annual Advanced Concepts Event (ACE), a series of wargames that link in aircraft simulators around the country to test advanced weapons concepts such as airborne lasers on aircraft such as the Joint Strike Fighter.
