Propulsion System Testing

This contract provides test and evaluation of propulsion engines; and research and development of advanced propellants at the NASA White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico. MEI Technologies Tasks include performance of altitude and ambient testing of liquid rocket engines, rocket motors, and integrated propulsion systems for Space Shuttle fleet lead testing, Air Force Minuteman stage testing, Space Shuttle reaction control system (RCS) and thruster hot fire acceptance testing, and test and evaluation of next generation vehicle propulsion systems including hypergolic and green propellant. Disciplines employed include propulsion system engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, system safety, hazardous materials management, and depot maintenance.
