Safety and Fire Protection Systems Maintenance and Operation

This contract provides facility safety, training, emergency response, and sustaining engineering support to NASA’s Johnson Space Center and Ellington Field facilities. Tasks performed include facility and construction safety; operating NASA’s Safety Training Center; operating and maintaining web-based safety reporting systems and trending databases; and maintaining fire protection and suppression systems across the Johnson Space Center’s many unique facilities. Disciplines employed include environmental safety and health, systems safety engineering, fire protection engineering; computer programming; and maintenance and operations. In 2006, MEI Technologies ’ contract received the “Star among Stars” Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) award from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration in recognition of our continued safety performance excellence.
