The ability to integrate multiple engineering disciplines enables MEI to use technology and research results to address difficult challenges that face today's scientific and engineering community. Some of the key aspects of our technology development approach include, a Corporate Systems Engineering Management Plan, a Formalized Stage Gate Process for identifying and proving technologies, depth and breadth in engineering and scientific disciplines for cross-pollination of ideas, in-house DDT&E with outsourced fabrication and manufacturing outsourced to specialized business partners, and mature technologies spun-off through Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances.
